We offer paid internships for some of our departments, as well as unpaid internships for educational or class credits. These placements are all great opportunities to learn what it is like to work at a non-profit organization that is making an impact in the community.

SLP, OT, PT, RN
We offer regular SLP student internship placements in our NY office. We also can offer opportunities and an opportunity for job shadowing the OT/PT/RN roles.
Social Services
Psychology, Social Work, HPX, BCBA
Ability hosts various school internship placements that students can learn the following: case management, working with disabilities, family/community support, behavior intervention, and community/program planning.
Administrative
Human Resources, Finance, Admin Assistant
We offer paid and unpaid (edu credit) administrative internships based on department and semester. Experience admin work in a non-profit!
Information Technology (IT)
Our IT department supports 1200 employees and numerous worksite technologies. Get a hands on experience with either a paid or unpaid (edu credit) internship.
