Location(s): Danbury, Bethel, Brookfield, New Milford, New Fairfield, Newtown, Prospect, & Ridgefield     
Hours: Combination of 1st (Day) and 2nd Shift (Evening)- Weekend availability a requirement     
Pay Rate: $19.50 - 20.75 / hour     
Job Responsibilities:    
  • Comprehensive Administrative Support: Drive efficient scheduling, documentation, and assist in creating individualized programs for individuals served; aid in managing group home and individuals' finances, including supply orders and personal needs.
  • Hands-On Assistance in Daily Living: Provide personalized care and culinary support, fostering individuals' independence and dignity; coordinate and facilitate timely transportation to medical and community resources.
  • Goal-Oriented Support: Empower individuals with disabilities to achieve personal milestones; implement and track progress on tailored treatment plans, considering unique preferences and abilities.
  • Community Integration Leadership: Assist in community integration and enhanced life skills instruction for individuals served; create opportunities for engagement in work, recreation, leisure, and volunteer activities.
  • Team Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with direct care staff to oversee day-to-day operations in the group home; assist the Residential Program Manager in guiding and mentoring the team.

Qualifications:      
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two (2) years of full-time related experience OR minimum of two (2) years of college in a related field and one (1) year of full-time related experience
  • Valid Driver’s License is required
