Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and organized Services Manager to join our Bristol leadership team.  You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of a caseload of DMHAS and DDS group homes. Your responsibilities will include managing front line supervisors, overall program oversight and planning, and other organizational compliance related tasks.  The ideal candidate has leadership experience overseeing multiple locations & teams, is creative with team building & retention and is supportive to their team.  
Key Responsibilities:  
  • The caseload will consist of 4-5 24/7 group homes with diverse funders and disabilities located in the Greater Bristol region, as well as Wolcott and Middletown 
  • Works as a liaison for families, managers and staff as necessary to ensure smooth communication lines
    • Collaborates and communicates with State Agency Funders to report concerns and advocate for resources (DMHAS & DDS)
    • Available and flexible for all teams as a mentor for problem solving and relationship building (availability to be a support to programs on nights and weekends, as needed)
    • Coaches Residential Program Managers on hiring, training teams and retention strategies
    • Participates in various committees and projects org-wide
    • Manages budgets within each program including efficient staffing models that meet required staff ratios
    • Identifies need and implements systems/processes to address problems (related to racking, technology, training and efficiencies)
    Qualifications:  
    • Must hold Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a human services related field. 
    • Requires 3 years of experience in education, counseling, rehabilitation related field.
    • Supervisory experience and strong communication skills also required.
    • Financial management and technological skills preferred.
    • Experience working with one or more of the following disabilities: Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities, Autism, Adults or Young Adults with Brain Injuries and/or Mental Health Diagnosis
    • Excellent leadership and administrative skills
    • Billing experience with DDS a plus, but not a requirement.
